Cheetham Hill Advice Centre

Accessible to speakers of nine different languages, Cheetham Hill Advice Centre is an independent neighbourhood service in one of Manchester's most diverse areas. They can advise on welfare benefits, money and debt, housing/homelessness, consumer/employment problems, work, access to adult learning/training/volunteering, immigration/nationality issues, access to Education, Health and other services and more.

QED

Since 1990, QED have been running projects in Bradford such as ESOL, integration 'into the mainstream', men's groups and workshops to aid the BME communities in finding employment.

Open Doors Hull

Located in Prince's Avenue Methodist Church providing activities and resources for asylum seekers, refugee and migrant workers. Their weekly drop-in service includes food, small cash support, clothes, classes, immigration/benefit advice and worker support.

Lincolnshire Refugee Doctor Project

In response to the doctor shortage in our NHS, this scheme looks to help refugee doctors regain employment in the UK. They offer family support and housing, as well as retraining and refreshment courses to build confidence and secure jobs.

Visible Leaders Network (VLN)

Afro-British Support Services Impact

The overall aim of Afro-British Support Services "IMPACT" in Birmingham is to provide professional innovative Information, Advice and Guidance support services that will enable refugees, asylum seekers and new communities to improve the quality of their lives. Their services cover education, housing, employment, health, debt advice, welfare and benefits, and more.

St Petrocs

Truro based St Petrocs works with homeless people in Cornwall to offer accommodation, support, advice, training and resettlement.

Intercom Trust

Intercom Trust is an LGBT+ charity working across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and the wider South West. They provide help and support, advocacy, counselling, training, information, support groups, conferences and consultancy.

Filwood Hope

Filwood Hope is a walk-in centre which provides the local community of Knowle West with advice and support on benefit, debt and housing. This service also provides counselling on a daily basis. They also host advisers from Age UK offering advice to those over 55.

Shire Advice Service

Shire Advice Service offer advice, information and advocacy covering welfare benefits, debt, housing, employment rights, consumer issues, family issues etc. They are fully accessible and based in North Bristol.

St Pauls Advice Centre

St Pauls Advice Centre offers specialist advice, information and casework services on welfare benefits, debt and money, employment, housing, immigration, discrimination, domestic violence and other community care issues. They offer independent, impartial, confidential, non-judgemental and free advice.

Bristol Muslim Cultural Society

As a Muslim Cultural Society, their aim is to empower the Muslim community in Bristol and the surrounding area to further the economic (employment, enterprise, training) educational, recreational, cultural and social needs of the Muslim community.

Dorset Race Equality Council

The Dorset REC inform and educate regarding race and ethnic relations including raising awareness, challenging prejudice, informing minority ethnic individuals of their rights, and work with partner organisations to influence policy and combat racial discrimination and racial violence.

Bude Refugee Support Group

BRSG (Bude Refugee Support Group) arrange Community Sponsorship, support refugees to rebuild their lives and resettle through English teaching, training and employment support, childminding, driving theory and much more.

Cornwall Refugee Resource Network

The Cornwall Refugee Resettlement Network is a committed group who are passionate about Cornwall being a place of welcome, refuge and sanctuary. They offer practical support such as sponsorship, workshops, providing resources, campaigning and running conferences to communicate with the local community.
 

Migrant Centre Northern Ireland (MCNI)

MCNI was established to ensure the rights of migrant workers are protected in NI, tackle racism, eliminate barriers against migrant workers, advance education and raise public awareness about their rights. MCNI has 3 offices across NI, in Belfast, Lurgan and Derry~Londonderry. They offer bilingual services, immigration advice, records and reports hate crimes. 

Action for Refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL)

Set up in 2006 to reduce the poverty of local refugees and asylum-seekers, advance their education and raise awareness about rights and needs. Services include advice in welfare benefits, housing, education, employment, health and immigration, a supplementary Saturday School for children aged 4-11 and a food bank for destitute asylum-seekers and refugees.

Hackney CVS

Hackney CVS is an umbrella body committed to making Hackney a fairer place. They believe everyone should have the best start in life and the best opportunities to succeed regardless of their background, race, social class, gender, sexuality or disability. They offer advice and training to local community groups, allowing them to influence how the public sector works.

London Business Hub

Prince's Trust

The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps young people aged 11 to 30 get into jobs, education and training. Find out about their programmes if you want to start a business, get a job or grow your confidence. They also have an online COVID support hub.

British Red Cross

The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. They offer help specifically during the pandemic, as well as mental health support, wheelchair support, refugee and asylum seeker support, financial advice and more. They have a network of volunteers providing support. Get in touch here.

Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is a worldwide evangelical Christian church. They provide a range of outreach support services for youth and children, families, older people, those experiencing homelessness and more. You can find your nearest Salvation Army here.

The Money Advice Service

The Money Advice Service offers free and impartial money advice, set up by government, covering debt and borrowing, homes and mortgages, budgeting and saving, work and benefits, pensions and retirement, family and care, cars and travel and insurance.
