Black Psychotherapy is a UK-based collective of Black therapists and healing practitioners dedicated to supporting the emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing of people of African, Caribbean, and mixed heritage. Rooted in culturally-affirming, trauma-informed, and decolonial approaches to mental health, they create spaces where Black individuals can explore their inner worlds free from pathologisation and racial harm.
Through therapeutic services, group programmes, and community offerings, they honour ancestral wisdom while addressing the impacts of systemic oppression. Their mission is to support liberation—not just from trauma, but towards wholeness, self-trust, and collective healing.
