At Spark, we are committed to supporting communities affected by systemic inequalities.
As part of this commitment, we are offering four small bursaries of £250 to fund grassroots community organising.
These bursaries will support individuals and organisations actively working to respond to and tackle Islamophobia in the UK.
Who can apply?
- We welcome applications from:
- Community groups involved in grassroots organising
- Registered entities (community interest companies, charities, and charitable incorporated organisations)
- Individual consultants or freelancers
- Community organisations providing care or support to the Muslim community in the UK.
Your work should focus on:
- Campaigning, advocacy, or community organising to raise awareness of and tackle anti-Muslim hate and Islamophobia
- Providing safer spaces, care, or direct support to the Muslim community
- Developing tools, resources, or guidance to support the Muslim community.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Your work must take place in the UK
- Your initiative should have a direct impact on tackling anti-muslim hate, Islamophobia or supporting Muslim communities.
- Your organisation has direct, first-hand lived experience of being from the Muslim community.
- Your work can be delivered by July 31st, 2025.
