Non Executive Board Member: Role Information

Summary

Spark & Co. is a Community Interest Company (C.I.C) that launched in 2020. We are looking for new Non-Executive Board members to support the development of our organisation in its next phase of growth.

Two parts of our organisation deliver on our mission:

  1. Spark & Co. is the community-facing side of our work. Our website, resource hub and social media content provides tailored education, information and connection for racialised people in the UK, navigating challenging times from the COVID-19 pandemic, to the cost of living crisis.
  2. Spark Insights is the research, training and coaching arm of Spark & Co.  After working with charities like Mind, Macmillan and Power to Change on their anti-racism and anti-oppression practices we launched Spark Insights and are set to disrupt the diversity and inclusion sector which has been profiting off inequality for far too long. We are here for organisations that take anti-racism and inclusion seriously.

We’re looking for up to two Non-Executive Board members to shape our strategy, steer our direction, and hold us accountable to our mission.

As an organisation that is committed to diversity and inclusion at every step, we strongly encourage those with lived or professional experience of working with Black, Asian and Global Majority people and communities in the UK to get in touch.
