Established over 25 years ago, The Sikh Helpline has developed itself to be a trusted point of contact for members of the community in dealing with a range of issues, especially those linked to cultural and social taboos, from hate crimes to mental health and addiction. Coronavirus Support: free professional and confidential counselling over telephone or email. 

Sarbat LGBT Sikhs

Sarbat is a volunteer led group addressing LGBT issues from a Sikh perspective. They organise regular events to encourage discussions, tackle homophobia/biphobia/transphobia and build bridges within and beyond their communities.

South Asian Society Devon and Cornwall

The main aim of this society is to create a cultural, social and mutual support network for Devon and Cornwall’s increasingly large South Asian community. SAaS has a wide membership base of people who are drawn from countries surrounding the Indian sub-continent or are part of the Asian Diaspora. They provide social welfare, recreation alongside multicultural events.

SWAN acts as a catalyst to develop positive change in the community and to inspire, develop and empower women to live confident and fulfilled lives. They work on leadership, empowerment and promoting equality, as well as supporting women and victims of abuse.

Sikh Council of Wales is an organisation independent of any political or cultural influence or bias but dedicated solely to promote the universal message of 'One God' and 'Equality' among all people through the teachings of 'Guru Nanak to Guru Granth'.

Touchstone

Touchstone Leeds is committed to ending mental health stigma in all its forms, through collaborations and campaigning, and as an employer of people with direct experience of mental health difficulties. It works with black and ethnic minority communities and provides a BME Dementia Service as well as Sikh Elders Service.

Indian Cultural Association of Dorset (ICAD)

The ICAD are a spiritual centre for all communities and religious backgrounds in Dorset, a centre for integration, cultural and spiritual exchange, and a place providing community service. They also run events to bring together people celebrating Indian festivals and national occasions.
